Overarching Design Principles
The design guidelines in this document all seek to maintain IN THIS CHAPTER
the character of Healdsburg while providing opportunities for
new development and assuring Healdsburg remains a desirable Design Principles 25
place to live. They promote maintaining traditional character,
while encouraging creativity and contemporary design where
appropriate. The following overarching design principles provide
the foundation for the design guidelines. Each improvement
project should help to achieve these principles.
