Historic Preservation Plan
Relationship to Other Plans and Policies
The Historic Preservation Plan supports a variety of existing documents
that the City uses including:
• City of Corvallis Comprehensive Plan
• Corvallis Land Development Code
• Imagine Corvallis 2040
• Certified Local Government Program and Agreement
• The Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Archaeology and
Historic Preservation
In addition to these documents and other community plans and
policies, the plan works with the federal, state and local regulations
that provide the legal basis for historic preservation efforts in Corvallis.
This includes zoning standards and Historic Preservation Overlays that
allow the Historic Resources Commission (HRC) to review modifications
to historic properties.
