As a component of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Plano Tomorrow, the

a relationship with programs in other departments. The interwoven nature of
preservation and other key initiatives throughout the City’s departments and
those identified in Plano Tomorrow shows that a preservation program cannot
operate alone. Initiatives regarding housing, sustainability, infrastructure, and
arts and culture continue to have an important relationship with the heritage
preservation program and should be planned accordingly to ensure the success
of all efforts involved.
