C. Materials Examples. The following Table 1.8 illustrates examples of materials that are appropriate in downtown San Marcos in the
different design contexts. The table is organized into categories of building materials and three visual examples are provided by each. The
intent of the table is to provide guidance for where certain materials may be appropriate as primary and secondary materials in the design
contexts. This chart relates to Section 4.3.5.6 of the Development Code, “Durable Building Material Area.”
