Heritage Tree Preservation
Trees in Healdsburg contribute to the character of the city, which
is emphasized even more with trees that have been a part of the
city for decades. In order to protect the character of Healdsburg,
heritage trees must undergo a process with the City Arborist
to determine if they may be removed, if a request is made to
remove a tree. Healdsburg’s heritage trees should be protected
and should be incorporated into the design of a development,
wherever possible.
