Chapter Use Guide
Use the chart below to determine which chapters of the design guidelines
apply to a proposed project. This chart indicates which chapters require
HARB review. Chapters requiring design review are indicated throughout
the document in blue. In some cases, a proposed project may fall into
multiple chapters in the document, potentially indicating that parts of the
project must be reviewed by the HARB prior to moving forward. Also note
that the footer in each chapter indicates whether the chapter content
is “Informational”, if “HARB Review (is) Required” or if the content is
“Advisory” through italicized text. The three topics requiring HARB review
are indicated throughout the document in blue, and a sidebar on the first
page of each chapter also explains that review is required.
