4 Demolition
This chapter provides overarching principles regarding the demolition of
part or all of a contributing historic building. Demolition is irreversible and HARB REVIEW
removes an integral component of a historic district, in addition to the REQUIRED
building itself. As such, property owners must fully consider alternatives to Proposed demolition of part or
