7 Best Practices for Additions
to Historic Buildings
This chapter presents advisory, best practice design guidelines for rear
additions to historic buildings in the Holmes-Foster/Highlands and College
Heights Historic Districts. When using these guidelines for an addition
that does not require review (such as an addition to the rear of a historic
building) or if more guidance is needed than is provided in this chapter, refer
to Chapter 3.
