                The second-ranked item (24%) involves taking steps to spur the supply side of the housing market (also
                 Near Term in Plan).

            Transportation:
            Continue to plan for funding of highest-priority road projects in new growth areas and in existing developed
            areas with traffic congestion and/or safety concerns.

                Ranked #1 among Transportation actions by 34% of respondents.
                This action item is already shown in the Near Term (0-3 years) timeframe in the Plan.
                Two second-ranked items (both with 23%) involve: (1) ongoing preventative maintenance on streets and
                 sidewalks,  and  (2)  coordination  between  the  City  of  Grenada  Police  Department  and  Grenada  School
                 District regarding campus-area traffic management and safety (both also Near Term in Plan).
            Economic Development:
            Continue to build on the Grenada Area Chamber of Commerce Shop Local initiative as Grenada County adds
            to its retail, service and restaurant options in the years ahead.
                Ranked #1 among Economic Development actions by 28% of respondents.

                This action item is already shown in the Near Term (0-3 years) timeframe in the Plan.
                The second-ranked item (21%) involves reinvestment in targeted areas of Grenada at risk of losing their
                 vitality, value and appeal (also Near Term in Plan).
            Recreation and Amenities:
            Conduct  special  area  planning  for  the  vicinity  of  the  new  north  side  sports  complex,  to  promote  master-
            planned and coordinated development outcomes around this new public asset that would be attractive to
            residents,  I-55  travelers,  sports  tournament  attendees,  etc.  (e.g.,  hotels,  restaurants,  other  shopping  and
            services, etc.).
                Ranked #1 among Recreation and Amenities actions by 37% of respondents.

                Like the other special area planning item above under Housing and Development, this action item is shown
                 in the Mid Term (4-9 years) timeframe in the Plan and would require other preparatory steps first.
                The second-ranked item (23%) involves continuing and varied efforts to create a vibrant community for
                 both residents and visitors (also Near Term in Plan).
